I thought it would be good to establish a hashtag for use to use as we tweet about all things edtech...in general and at TCEA.

TCEA Virtual Conference

TCEA Virtual Conference Option

I was chatting with Amy Sierra, CIT at Lieck Elementary and Carnahan Elementary, about this year's TCEA.

Amy recently (this past summer) had a baby (cutie Max) and won't be able to make it to Austin this year...traveling is difficult right now with a little one :)

This year she has opted to take advantage of the TCEA Virtual Conference. If there are others of you who are not able to make it to TCEA this year, this might be an interesting option to look into for you as well. More registration info ($75) for the TCEA Virtual Conference is located here.

Need a little help with your TCEA registration and Munis?

The awesome Sandy Roe has come to our rescue with a nice little refresher that should get you successfully through TCEA registration. Yeah, Sandy!

Here we go.

1. Register for TCEA online. You will select "Bill Me". That will allow you to follow up with your PO.

2. Your requistition in Munis will require you have these THREE attachments.
(a) attach a copy of the receipt or confirmation you get from TCEA after registering on the site
(b) attach the Travel Authorization Request (click on Travel Forms)
(c) attach the  Travel Advance Purchase Order [Registration/Travel Advance Purchase Order] (Click on Travel Forms)

3. Fill out requisition for PO in Munis. Sandy has given us a completed PO to share as an example for what information you will need to be ready to supply as part of your requisition. Of course, with your own personal information :)
