Email Signature Awesomeness
Email Signature Awesomeness
I wanted to share an email signature awesomeness tip with you!
As you find yourself going back and forth between your campuses, an easy way to help your staff know where you are is by adding some additional details to your email signature.
Karen Dunlap recently emailed me needing some help. I was quickly able to find her because of her awesome email signature. She credits Amber Samaniego for the dazzling idea :)

Love it.

GroupWise - Resharing Address Books
GroupWise - Resharing Address Books
In many cases, the CIT is the owner of a shared address book for their campus. If you need to modify a previously created address book, here are the steps to do that.
Find a staff member who has a copy of the shared address book for the campus. Any staff member who was on the campus and has a shared copy will work.
Export this address book with the file extension of .NAB. This is done by right-clicking on the address book to be exported, then selecting Export Book. This can be saved on a campus shared drive or someplace where it can be easily retrieved in later steps. Give it a name like <campus name> Staff 2011-2012 with the extension of .NAB. (This will have the extension of .NAB by default, so there is no need to change anything, as long as the Save As Type: is Novell Address Book).
To create the new book in YOUR GroupWise:
1. In the address book application, click File -> New Book
2. Name the book something like <campus> 2011-2012
3. Highlight the newly created address book, then select File -> Import
4. Select the .NAB file that was exported earlier
5. After this is completed, the newly created address book can be shared out among the campus staff
6. If the old address book is still among the list of books, it may be deleted and removed from the list
