For example, John Robinson posted a new video resource on IE8 Compatibility Mode Settings under the Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 section.
You can quickly browse to see updated or new materials...as they have a bright yellow NEW! label by them. You can't miss it.

NISD Online Databases
NISD Online Databases
I recieved a question the other day about Visual Thesaurus. Unfortunately, Visual Thesaurus, along with a few other databases, weren't able to be renewed this school year because of the budget and funding. I know many of you enjoyed using this resource with students, so I wanted to make sure you were aware.

Deployment Resource Folders for Laptop Staff
This is a suggested list of deployment resources you might choose to put together as a resource folder for your laptop staff.
CITs have found that teachers have found much use and comfort in having a few resources offline and easily accessible when they are stuck!
These are the items often included:
Laptop Checklist (document also includes "Responsible Use" and "Your Financial Responsibility")
Laptop Basics
eFiles
Setting a Default Printer
Using the Ringdale "Follow Me" Printer
Using the Mounted Projector
Changing the Screen Resolution
Playing a DVD Using Your Laptop
ELMO Quick Start
Connecting to Wireless Networks
