Principals,


Technology Services staff will again this year be providing campuses/departments with real-time updates regarding account creation during the very hectic "back-to-school" season. We hope this ongoing effort will continue to relieve campus staff from the burden of having to track down status of new accounts. Our goal is to process/create accounts by position (i.e. teacher, VP, Principal, Attendance Secretary, etc.) using information from Munis on personnel actions (without requiring a work order request be submitted).


The account processing spreadsheet URL (located at:

http://intranet.northside.isd.tenet.edu/ITS/Doc/New_Employees_and_Transfers.xls provides account processing information and status for NISD employees by campus/department that are transferring within the district or that are new. This URL will be updated once a day. The last update--date and time--are shown on the spreadsheet. More employees and account processing info will be added as we receive them from the MUNIS system.


The fields provide the following information:

NEW LOCATION/LAST NAME/FIRST NAME/NEW LOGIN/PREVIOUS LOCATION/NEW TITLE/NW AD/GW/R20/LN/COGNOS/HEAT PROFILE


NW/AD = Network account

GW = Groupwise account

R20 = Region 20

LN = Lotus Notes (web access)


If the employee is a NEW employee the Previous Location field will be blank.


Gradebook and CMS access for teachers is available the day after 1) the teacher's network account is created and 2) the teacher has been added to the master schedule (e.g. If a teacher's network account is created/modified on Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. and they are added to the master schedule that same day, the Gradebook account will be provisioned overnight and available for use on Wednesday a.m.)


Gradebook and CMS access for non-teaching staff in a position approved by Administration to receive accounts will have access the day after their HR/Payroll record is complete.  Access granted based on stipends is added the day after the stipend work flow processing is complete.


If you see "blanks", please be patient as the team is working the accounts and putting an "X" in the fields as soon as they can.


If you see discrepancies, please contact the Help Desk for resolution.
