The ECLC Summer 2011 Writing Project was a HUGE success!
The writing team included Sandra Vasquez (CIT from McDermott Elementary). Mary Margaret Fosmoe (ECT from Glenoaks Elementary), and Donna Navarro (ECT from Scarborough Elementary).
This group focused on:
updating the 1-5 timelines
adding a Kinder timeline
adapting the existing Kinder application training guide activities to create full lesson plans
adding a K-5 Digitial Citizenship: Rules & Responsibilities lesson plan
adding a K-5 Procedures and Expectations lesson plan
The Elementary Computer Literacy Curriculum was updated during the summer of 2011. Kinder through fifth grade has been updated to integrate the use of SRA Techknowledge.
ECTs and CITs should review the lessons prior to instruction and should strive to use the lessons provided within this website to ensure all Northside students receive the developmentally appropriate instruction that matches the Technology Applications TEKS.
Following the timelines will enable students to receive instruction on technology skills they will need to successfully complete technology projects in the classroom and TIP labs.
