K-5 Reading Textbook Adoption 2010-2011

K-5 Reading Textbook Adoption 2010-2011
Just an FYI...

Carolyn Denny and I are working closely together and are in the process of acquiring ALL of the K-5 Reading Textbook Software from the vendor...to be officially evaled in R-TIME.

None of it has been evaluated or looked at in R-TIME at this time and CAN NOT be installed at this time.

Please know that I will send you updates ASAP as we get them...

Things to be determined once we are able to get the software in house:

1. What software is available ONLINE within Think Central?
2. What software will NOT be installed because it is available ONLINE within Think Central?
3. What software might not need to be installed because it is "plug and play?"

4. After eval, what will the install plan be district-wide?

Those are the questions I can think of right now :)

  1. So, does this mean that the teachers will not have to go through the long log-in process each time they want to utilize the software? If so, super!!!

    Thank you!

  2. Hi Paula :)

I'm not sure I know exactly what login part you are referring to. Are you referring to the login to the online "Think Central?"

Not yet...I'm still waiting to get the software from the vendor. It was mailed two weeks ago to me :(

  5. Dana,
Did you get the software from the vendor. I had a teacher ask me about this again today.

  6. Mary, I did. All of the software that needs an install has been put into R-TIME. MOST of it doesn't need an install. Is there a specific title you would like me to let you know about?
