Active Directory PCs - Please Don't Shut Down

Active Directory PCs - Please don't Shut Down

Please remember to leave Active Directory PCs powered-up after school and at the end of the day. Students and staff should just log-off. Important remote installations and updates occur and our systems administrators depend on having those systems available. The PCs will shut themselves down in the evening (per the Power Management plan in place).

  1. I have the opposite problem. Several PCs don't shut down during the night and are still on when I get to my room in the morning. It doesn't happen to the same PCs on a regular basis so I haven't turned in a workorder. Seems to happen sporadically. Any clue as to why they wouldn't be shutting down?

  2. What about the teacher laptops? They usually lock up or take home for the night?
