Office 2003 Compatibility Pack

Office 2003 Compatibility Pack

The Office 2003 Compatibility Pack was pushed out district-wide a while back. There is a possibility that some of the installs did not work properly at the time and may need to be re-pushed. If a station did not get the Office 2003 Compatibility Pack, you can call the helpdesk. This is a push they can do to your station DURING YOUR CALL :)

  1. This may be a stupid question but...(I'm going to ask anyway) is there a way to find out whether or not a computer has it, aside from the fact that users can not open documents created in 2007?

  2. Not a stupid question at all, Noemi. I googled if there was a site to visit (like checking for Flash version) to see if you have the 2003 CP. I didn't find anything other than a computer scan, which we don't do. I would call the help desk and see if they can tell or have a tip for you.

  3. I get a message that the Installation of this package failed. I tried installing the compatibility pack for the 2007 office system. I have a Dell computer Optiplex 620 CPU 463495.
